VIRAT KOHLI, The Legend in making

5 Feet 9 inch tall right handed batsmen, Indian Test team  Captain, the backbone of Indian batting line up, the Ultimate Chaser of World Cricket  and a die heart fan of The God – Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar and the guy who is compared to Cricket God by many.Never call him Second Sachin Tendulkar, call him First Virat kohli, Nicknamed as Cheeku.

All of us know about his present life his lifestyle , his aggression  on and off the field and most importantly the dedication level  to play for the country. I am writing few things which will let us know about his past life and the way in to Indian Cricket Team. Though belonging to a middle class family, his father always supported him like a true supporter and always wanted him to represent our Country in Cricket.Everyone of us face situation which will pull us back from achieving our goals but what matters the most  is how we act at as that point of situation and how  much we control our emotions and how we behave to the world when we are really down.While playing in Ranji Trophy against Karnataka for Delhi he got a news that his father is no more after  being on bed for one month. Suddenly everyone thought he will go home when the situation demanded the same but his team were not in a good position in the match and realizing the same he went on the bat and drew the match and scored 91 Patient runs and after that directly went to his father’s funeral. From that particular day his life changed like everything.

In his own words “The way I approached the game changed that day. I just had one thing in my mind – that I have to play for my country and live that dream for my dad.”

what his mother told after few years was” Overnight he became a much more matured person. He took every match seriously. He hated being on the bench. It’s as if his life hinged totally on cricket after that day. Now, he looked like he was chasing his father’s dream which was his own too”

We call his the best Chaser of the world and truly said as the way he chased his and his Father’s dream is an inspiration all of us. Winning U19 world cup made him the superstar of Indian Young Cricket and rest is history. Leading Indian Test team to Rank 1 within a year of Captainship, backing his bowlers,Consistently performing well in batting ,breaking a few records every now and than getting on to headlines and  appreciated by all cricket expert. The way he absorbs pressure in tough situations , The way he celebrates success, the way he chants INDIA,INDIA in the field, the way he shows his frustration while getting out on a wrong shot, the hunger for scoring runs for india and most importantly the way he motivated the whole Indian Cricket fan is not less than a Legend. He is someone who has changed his whole lifestyle starting from Diet to all to remain fit to play for his country.. My request is not to compare him with Sachin the Cricket God, he is different from all. He is VIRAT KOHLI,The legend in making of Indian Cricket.
